A quick update: Shaula3 has been capsized by a wave during the passage from Bonaire to Panama, when we were about 120 miles off the coasts of Colombia.

The impact folded the starboard crosstrees and smashed the sprayhood, while the cockpit floor was lost into the sea and a lot of water entered the cabin; luckily, the boat righted itself very quickly.

After two days, initially sailing under reduced sail, and later on under engine once we have been able to start it, we have reached Shelter Bay Marina, at the entrance of the Panama Canal, where we are trying to effect the most urgent repairs to be able to continue the voyage.

In the next days we will try to give fuller info and to update the blog with all the voyage reports from Les Saintes to Bonaire.
